Operations Officer Mr. Czmowski is organizing a food drive beginning Sat 9/11/10 through Sat 12/18/10. We will be collecting non-perishable food items on behalf of the Elks Lodge, who will then in turn create the food baskets and hand them out to families in need for the holidays. Each platoon will be competing against each other to see who can bring in the most food. The platoon who has the heaviest collection box (weight) is the one that wins the streamer for their guidon. Mr. Czmowski will be at the Sign In/Out table each drill collecting food items from the YMs and making sure they get in the correct platoon boxes! Please bring your donations in bags clearly marked with the platoon name!! THE LAST DAY TO BRING IN FOOD ITEMS IS 12/11/10 AT DRILL. Assistance will be needed the morning of Saturday 12/18/10 from 0830-1030 - we'll need to help the Elks get the food boxes from their staging area to the hallways for distribution.
