YMs 13yrs old and older are invited to the BSA Ft. Vancouver District Winter Warrior event. This is a overnight Winter Snow Camp event, similar to Operation Winter Snow. Events include: Winter Land Navigation & Orientation, Avalanche Safety, Shelter Building, Snow Shoes, Cross Country Skiing, Fire Building and Rifle Qualification among others.
The BSA instructors include 2 former Navy Seals who trained extensively in Alaska and an Army Green Barret Medic...2 of those three are also Emergency Room Physician Assistant's.
