Poolie Program
What is the Poolie Program??
The Poolie program bridges the gap between Orientation and the wait for September's upcoming boot camp.
The Poolie program is NOT a boot camp; it is an INTRODUCTION to the Young Marine program, the expectancies of being a Young Marine, and the Young Marine way of life.
Recruits who have met the above 3 criteria may begin attending on our regular drill dates (every other Saturday following their orientation) and work with a Poolie Drill Instructor on various activities of the Young Marines and better prepare them for their first day of Boot Camp when they will meet their Sr. Drill Instructor for the first time.
While we feel those who go through the Poolie program are better prepared, the Poolie program is NOT required; it is simply a tool for those anxious to become Young Marines to get started right away.

Staff Meeting
Please plan on attending if you can to go over the business of the unit. Please keep sidebar conversations to a minimum and try to stay on task as much as possible. There's always so much information to pass in an organization the size of ours and we need to get through it all in as timely a manner as we can! Please, come prepared!
Thank you.
